About the Foundation
Missouri Alliance for Home Care (MAHC) is regarded as Missouri’s home care leader in areas including: education and training, advocacy, resources, research, data collection and analysis. MAHC established a foundation to help ensure that research and education specific to home care continues to expand the number of nurses and therapists in home care.
Since 2006 the Foundation has awarded $12,000 in scholarships to 15 nursing and therapy students. All of this money has been raised through donations to the Foundation.
Additionally, the Foundation Board of Directors is continuing its work to identify research projects that will result in improved outcomes and expanded home care options for consumers.
